Legal & Credits – Hustletology™

Welcome. This page exists for two simple reasons: clarity and respect. If you’re reading Hustletology, you deserve to know who’s behind it, what tools are used, and what you can (and can’t) do with the work.

Who made Hustletology

Hustletology is an original comic series created by Mikko Moisio (also known professionally as Mikko “Mike” Moisio and Mike Moisio).

Mikko is the creator, art director, editor, and final decision-maker for everything that gets published under Hustletology. That includes the overall concept and tone of the series, what topics are explored, the style guidelines, the selection of scenes, the final punchlines, and the publishing choices.

Tools and production notes

Hustletology is made using a hybrid process.

  • AI-assisted ideation may be used in brainstorming storylines, dialogue variations, punchline options, and alternative versions of a strip.
  • AI-assisted visuals are used in rendering the final artwork. In practice, this means generative tools are used as part of the visual pipeline, and the finished strip is curated, assembled, edited, and approved by Mikko.

If you’re wondering why we’re so open about this: because it’s healthier for everyone. Hustletology doesn’t try to “pass” as something it isn’t. The goal is to make good comics and be honest about the process.

Copyright

“Hustletology Comics” is used as a series/imprint name.

What this generally means in everyday terms:

  • You’re welcome to read, share links, and quote small excerpts (with proper attribution).
  • You may not repost full strips, sell them, package them, mint them, print them for sale, or use them in ads or product marketing without permission.
  • You may not remove or alter credits notices.

If you want to use Hustletology in a legitimate way (publishing, licensing, a collaboration, an exhibit, a brand partnership), great. Reach out and we’ll sort it out properly.

Trademark

HUSTLETOLOGY™ is a trademark used in connection with comics and related media.

That means the name “Hustletology” is part of the series identity and brand. Even when individual works are shared online, the series name is not a free-for-all label you can attach to your own comics, channels, products, or shows.

If you see someone using the Hustletology name in a way that looks misleading or commercial, feel free to flag it.

Permissions and sharing policy

If you’re a normal human sharing things in a normal human way, you’re probably fine.

You may:

  • Share links to strips and pages
  • Post a screenshot crop for commentary, review, or discussion (keep it reasonable, attribute it, and don’t make it a substitute for the original)
  • Quote short text snippets with credit and a link back

You may not:

  • Upload full strips as your own posts across platforms as if you’re the publisher
  • Compile Hustletology strips into a PDF/book/course/newsletter archive
  • Use Hustletology artwork or characters to endorse a product, service, political cause, or campaign
  • Create merch, prints, stickers, or NFTs from the work without written permission
  • Remove the credits card / watermark / attribution

If you’re unsure whether your use is “reasonable,” ask. Seriously. It’s faster than drama.

Third-party content and references

Hustletology is satire. It may reference common business clichés, internet culture, productivity myths, corporate rituals, and the general weirdness of modern work life. Any resemblance to real persons, companies, or events is usually either coincidence or the unavoidable nature of reality being a parody of itself.

If a strip includes a specific third-party mark or identifiable brand, it is used for commentary and humor, not as sponsorship.

AI disclosure and authenticity

Some Hustletology strips may include a credits note indicating AI-assisted creation. That disclosure is intentional.

If you’re here because you found a watermark or detector result: yes, Hustletology uses AI-assisted tools. The creative direction, publishing decisions, and series authorship remain human-led.

If you’d like a behind-the-scenes explanation of the workflow, you’ll find it referenced on the main site and occasionally in posts.
